“Cabaret de la Gata” community opera showcase
We would like to kindly invite you to the “Cabaret de la Gata” community opera showcase which will take on Saturday 19th March at 13:00pm CET in the Foyer room of Liceu Opera House Barcelona to a select audience of invited guests and the option to live stream the show online.
The cabaret will involve professionals, members of the public and cutting edge TRACTION technology to showcase the creative processes involved in community opera La Gata Perduda (The Lost Cat), ahead of its premiere on the main stage of Liceu opera house in Barcelona, 5th-7th October 2022.
The show will directly involve the citizens of the Raval neighborhood and you will learn how they are involved in the co-creation of the opera. The event will be quintessential in giving a sense of the many different forms of participation that the opera entails through a series of performances, interviews and testimonials from the La Gata Perduda community choirs and professionals invloved. You will have the chance to meet the opera’s protagonists and hear the musical score live!
All whilst learning more about the TRACTION toolset which has helped facilitate the design of the opera and its participation:
- The Cocreation space private social platform that the choirs and professionals have been using to collaborate.
- Hear from participants and community choirs in multiple locations in real time thanks to the Cocreation Stage.
